For instance repairing a faucet is far better done by the homeowner then a plumber who is charging $85 per hour.     Often what stops people from working on their own plumbing systems is not having the proper plumbing tools to do the job the right way. There is nothing worse then having the water shut off in your house and not being able to turn the water back on later because you were not able to complete the job.     Sustained concentrated focus on one single object collects your attention in that one place, much like a magnifying glass collects the suns rays in one powerful point.  If it’s a visual object you are focusing your attention on the visual part of your brain will become the most active.  If you sustain your attention long enough on that one signal, other brain areas will get less and less active and your visual part will get more and more active.    Take it all the way and you will collect all of your conscious brain activity in one part of your brain, in this example your visual part.  At that point you don’t hear, feel, smell or taste anything.  Your other senses are certainly taking everything in as usual and your brain is recording it, but you won’t be conscious of any of it at that moment.

    When improving concentration beyond a certain point, you gain enough control over your attention to be able to do almost whatever you want with your attention and your mind.  Whatever that goal is that you choose to focus on, when you selectively focus on what’s important to you, it can separate success from the ones who only thought about it from time to time.  Maximizing your ability to attend to the important details will lead you to better performance.  What do you choose to pay attention to today?  Control your attention and you control your brain.

    Over the last 6 months in the UK the financial meltdown has worsened and a new type of debt related company has started to concern loan/credit card companies .

    Lets go back to 1974 when a Consumer Credit Act was drawn up, and within which was an agreement between the lender and the applicant} that Credit Card and Loan companies had to undertake when dealing with the people takin on the credit card or loan. These practices covered aspects such as Interest rates, cooling off periods, monthly payments etc. Basically these terms and conditions were compulsory in order to make the agreement valid, even if it was to be in small print. Plus the applicant had to acknowledge these T&C’s by signing the agreement too.

    However, in the case of a lot of credit and loan companies they did not follow the credit agreement guidelines and as a result they have left themselves open to having what’s known as ‘Unenforceable Credit Agreements‘ or UCA.

    What this means to person who took out a loan or got a credit card is that if they did so before April 2007 then they could ‘legally’ challenge the ‘validity’ of that initial agreement, and in a large amount of cases can either have the debt wiped clear or substantially reduced.

    In the light of this ‘blunder’ there are now loads of companies who will help applicants get their original credit contracts checked for UCA and in the process make themselves a lot of money. Nothing wrong with people wanting to know if they have Invalid Credit Loan Agreements that as the applicant will in some cases be able to save ten thousand pounds plus, in credit or loan debts which they could then spend elsewhere.

    Some companies charge a small admin fee just to look at the credit/loan contract to see if it’s if it meets the UCA validation criteria while others will be work on the basis of not getting any payment if they don’t win your case. It’s not clear how long this will be allowed to go on but for now the so called ‘greedy’ loan and credit organisations are being inundated with 1,000′s of requests for copies of original credit or loan documents as more and more desperate people are trying to have their debts cleared forever.

    It has been such a long time since I’ve been insured that I’ve unfortunately found myself suffering from a great deal of dental pain. The good news is, my new employer provides an insurance package that is better than any that I’ve ever seen before. So, I’m going to be getting my dental problems done up in style. It’s difficult to find! There are a lot of things to take into account when you’re finding a dentist. For example, I don’t know if I would want to see a dentist who didn’t get the majority of his experience in the military.
